Complete an operations task

This guide describes the task-oriented Web navigation. Earlier versions may still use Dashboard, EM Bridge and Edge Management for Live monitoring, Report import and Equipment status.

Choose the right workspace

  • Fleet overview lists the accessible vessels on the current page and helps prioritize attention. Its counts cover that page, not the entire fleet. Missing or delayed evidence is not a healthy result.
  • Live monitoring shows the selected vessel's cameras and latest available evidence.
  • Video Review opens historical recordings and manual annotations. Observers start here; authorized managers with vessels start at Fleet overview. An authorized link you opened before signing in still takes precedence.
  • Report import opens the organization's EM documents. A document's vessel and voyage can differ from the vessel selected for single-vessel monitoring; read the document heading.
  • Equipment status explains gateway, camera, storage and upload evidence for the selected vessel.

On desktop, expand navigation labels when icons are unfamiliar. On a phone, the dock shows up to four frequent destinations for your role; More retains the other permitted tasks. No navigation option grants additional access.

Import and find a report

  1. Open Report import, including directly from onboarding when you do not need to connect equipment.
  2. Check the available formats and limits, then select the files. If a file is rejected, use its named error to remove or replace it; do not repeatedly resend a file whose earlier upload succeeded.
  3. Resolve the decisions requested by the service, such as vessel matching. A complete unique match may archive automatically. Users without vessel-creation access should contact their organization administrator when the required vessel is missing.
  4. Read the archive result and any deferred record groups. Field-review counts and deferred groups measure different things; archiving does not imply that every field has been manually reviewed.
  5. Open the vessel's trip or continue with the next report. After archiving, only eligible deferred data can be corrected in the current workflow; unrestricted historical editing is not implied.

For a workbook, select the relevant worksheet before checking its preview and mappings. Verify the source row and the fields excluded from import. Source files remain unchanged.

Review and resume evidence

Choose the vessel and recording period, then inspect available cameras. A partial camera group must identify its missing cameras; footage outside its recorded time range cannot be synchronized. Use M to mark the current moment and the visible shortcut-help control for other keys.

AI assistance is a viewing aid. Human input and the saved annotation's source remain separate from an AI candidate. Check the save result before leaving; a failed save is not a successful submission. Use the remaining-review information to find the next unreviewed segment before completing a trip. Deletion requires confirmation.

Report-summary drafts recover within the same browser tab and authorized user/organization/vessel/ report context. They are not synchronized across devices. Signing out, replacing the login or losing the current session clears these drafts. If browser storage is unavailable, heed the warning and finish or copy your work to an approved location before leaving.

Recover from missing or delayed data

Check the selected vessel, source time and status first. Retry a failed request, inspect equipment, or open available historical evidence as appropriate. A recorded position or saved video must retain its timestamp and must not be presented as current telemetry. An unavailable service does not prove that a vessel has no data or that its equipment is healthy.
