View Live Camera Streams

Watch authorized vessel cameras from Live monitoring (/dashboard) after the assigned Edge Gateway becomes live-ready. Video Review (/live-view) opens recorded evidence, not live video.

Before you begin​

  • Select a vessel that you are allowed to access.
  • Confirm that its gateway is Live-ready.
  • Confirm that at least one camera reports healthy live publishing.

Start playback​

  1. Open Live monitoring. On earlier versions this destination is named Dashboard.
  2. Select the vessel.
  3. Select an available camera and wait for it to connect.
  4. Use the quality selector to request standard or HD playback.
  5. Use the reconnect action when a recovered camera does not resume automatically.
  6. Open an individual tile in fullscreen when needed.

Camera choices retain their individual availability. If live playback is unavailable, read the status before retrying or opening Equipment status. An available saved recording is explicitly marked as playback with its capture time; it is not a replacement live feed.

The position beside video can come from a recording. Read its source and capture time before using it as vessel-location evidence. A recording position must not be interpreted as the current position.

Video quality​

Standard quality is the default. HD is a short, renewable lease and may be downgraded when the vessel uplink cannot support it. The displayed quality always reflects the session admitted by Fishtube.

Security boundary​

The Edge Gateway publishes video outbound. Authorized viewers receive short-lived playback sessions; camera RTSP addresses and credentials are never sent to the browser. A playback grant for one vessel and camera cannot open another stream.
