Confirm and Export an Observer Report

Fishtube combines completed recordings, AI evidence, and observer marks into electronic observer report candidates that can be reviewed, confirmed, and exported.

Confirm a report

1. Open Reports and select an accessible vessel.
2. Choose a date or inclusive report date range.
3. Review draft status and AI-analyzed, AI-pending, human-reviewed, and human-unreviewed minutes.
4. Open Human Analysis to review the continuous virtual Trip, add or correct event marks, and acknowledge reviewed chunks that contain no event.
5. Select a report candidate and inspect its vessel, camera, evidence, marks, and timeline rows.
6. Review the projected electronic observer fields.
7. As the assigned observer, confirm the report after AI analysis or human review satisfies the readiness rule.
8. Export CSV, XLSX, or browser PDF after the report becomes export-ready.

Confirmation creates a durable submitted snapshot. It does not modify the completed recordings, accepted AI evidence, or observer marks that provide report provenance.

FishTube builds the default Trip candidate from continuous review archives. It projects source AI events and source marks into their archive time positions, deduplicates canonical boundary events, and excludes manual uploads unless an observer explicitly includes one through a separate evidence workflow. AI completion and human completion are independent: either one can make a draft ready for observer confirmation, but neither permits export until the assigned observer submits the snapshot. Supervisor approval is deferred to a later product phase.

Report statuses

Status	Meaning
Draft	The report remains reviewable and has not been confirmed.
Submitted	Confirmation created a durable report snapshot.
Confirmation ready	All continuous video is AI analyzed, or the complete Trip was human reviewed.
Export ready	A submitted snapshot is available for export.

Field catalog

The versioned electronic observer field catalog contains 133 definitions across Vessel, Trip, Set, Haul, Catch, ETP, Activity, and School groups. It also provides data types, requirement levels, units, allowed values, controlled lists, validation guidance, entity relationships, and source provenance.

Unavailable operational values remain explicit null values; Fishtube does not invent them.
